Find a sense of belonging and mutual understanding in our groups and workshops. In a supportive community, you can cultivate self-compassion and remember you're not alone.

The inner critic thrives in isolation. When you're alone with your self-judgment, it's easy to believe that it's true. In a group or workshop, you can meet others who share your struggle. Together, you will learn new ways of relating to yourself and your inner critic. Group members uplift and remind each other of the humanness and wholeness in imperfection.


Self-Compassion Circle

The Self-Compassion Circle meditation group meets once a month and is open to all. The format for the Circle consists of a check-in, followed by a talk on self-compassion, a period of meditation, and then questions and discussion. The Circle is a safe and dynamic space where like-minded folks can find support, guidance and community; a place to gather and practice together. You can also join the Self-Compassion Circle Meetup.

Love Yourself, No Matter What ~ Half-Day Workshop

Love Yourself, No Matter What is a nourishing afternoon workshop perfect for anyone interested in awakening and cultivating deeper self-compassion by exploring their challenges and learning new tools. The workshop includes a discussion about the basics of self-compassion, experiential exercises, guided meditation, and the Love Yourself, No Matter What process.

Love Yourself Whole ~ Daylong Workshop

Love Yourself Whole is a day focused on resolving inner conflict and finding a greater sense of wholeness and self-acceptance. In a retreat-like space, attendees are guided to cultivate curiosity and friendliness toward specific aspects of themselves that are challenging. The day includes experiential exercises, meditation and group discussion.

I came to Lea’s workshop looking to find a connection between self-compassion and the creative art studio process, particularly the inner critic and being ‘stuck’ and unable to follow through with studio work. The workshop helped me see that drawing, painting – any creative studio art – can be reclaimed and embodied as a practice of self-compassion. The crippling effects of trying to be creative for motivations connected with self-esteem can be clearly untangled and released. I look forward to future workshops.
